About Firefly's Bar and Blackburne Downport

Bombed by the Alliance during the Unification Wars and left for dead, Blackburne is a small rim moon that has yet to surrender.  A single valley is the last viable place for humanity to live on this once lush and fertile moon.  A place for travellers, outcasts, and those who don't wish to be seen, this community continues to thrive independently where others have fallen.  The rest of the moon is a blasted radiated wasteland, the bones of cities slowly crumbling, dangers around every corner and death lurking at any watering hole.

Welcome to Blackburne Downport!

Blackburne is a DCS2 Roleplaying sim, based on the Firefly tv series with a liberal dash of classic post-apocalypse RPG thrown in (think Fallout, Mad Max, I Am Legend, etc).  Here you'll find that people are still fighting to live the life they want to live. 

There are several choices of what you can be here, from anthro mutant just in from the Wastes, to an off-worlder looking for a new place to live, maybe a 'bot fleeing Alliance control, or finally a local human survivor of the war.

Aside from the ongoing Alliance threats that have an impact on life within the Downport, out here in the Rim other challenges appear such as Reavers, Feral Mutants from the Wastes, and so on. 

Life isn't easy, but it is our home.

Or if you just like the Firefly 'verse but don't care for the battle, feel free to join us every Wednesday 5pm-9pm, Friday through Sunday 6pm-10pm at Firefly's Bar.  Watch the lovely ladies dance for you, while enjoying the tunes spun out by our skilled DJs, and drink the evening away with us.
